Vega continues to build on its strength in AV and IT integration with the appointment of Vikas Tyagi as Project Director for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Based in Vega’s Wellington office, Tyagi will be working with clients across the country and throughout the South Pacific.
He brings with him over 19 years rich global experience in ICT Program and Project management. This experience has been gained working on complex infrastructure projects for the telecommunication, education and ICT sectors across Africa, Asia and the Pacific.
Past programs included handling West Africa’s first 4G-LTE network and Netflix server deployment, playing a key role in the NZQA’s digital transformation program, and working on a massive telco infra rollout across Africa and Asia.
Tyagi is excited by the prospect of being able to put his multicultural global experience to work for Vega’s diverse portfolio of clients.
Andrew Green, Managing Director of Vega Global New Zealand and Pacific Islands, says that Tyagi has strong analytical and business analysis skills that will assist organisations in implementing the technology solutions that will allow them to compete in the global arena.
Green also praises Tyagi’s skill in being able to simplify intricate project details into clear and manageable work sequences that all stakeholders can understand, thereby streamlining the complexities found in integrated audio-visual projects.
