Vega, a leading technology services provider that is part of Vega Global, has appointed Stephen Ward as Sales Director for their New Zealand and Pacific business.
Ward, having worked in the information technology and services industry since the early nineties, brings considerable industry insights and manufacturer relationships to the role. Before joining Vega, he was General Manager of Midwich New Zealand, one of the country’s largest Audio Visual distributors.
The appointment comes as part of Vega’s transformational journey, where investing into and driving greater synergies with the IT market, ongoing solution development and a suite of unique products and expanded services elevates them beyond traditional AV integration.

Ward shares and understands the company’s vision and will be looking to build out what he sees as a solid foundation. He’s excited about the potential to expand on “a healthy growth phase.”
He heads up the local sales team and is a key member of Vega’s strategy group. His focus will be on growing the New Zealand and Pacific business, working with international clients and helping New Zealand businesses become players on the global stage.
Ward is enthusiastic about what the future holds. “We’re seeing a shift with a lot of New Zealand companies wanting to push out to the rest of the world and who use us as their strategic partner to help them.
